What a Puppy Offer Looks Like

Updated over a month ago

When a breeder sends you a Puppy Offer, you’ll get a text message and an email with a link to view it. The Puppy Offer shows all the key details of your puppy purchase in one place.

The sale is still between you and your breeder — RightPaw simply provides the platform to help manage the agreement securely.

Each Puppy Offer covers important terms such as refunds, timelines, and the breeder might include their own contract. Agreeing on these upfront helps avoid misunderstandings and provides a clear reference if mediation is ever needed.

Take a look at what a Puppy Offer looks like:

The first page is Meet Your Puppy — a cute welcome from your pup with photos of them and their littermates.

Next is the Puppy Details page, which shows your puppy’s information — including their litter, date of birth, breed, home date, and any breeder documents attached.

Next is the Breeder Inclusions page, which shows the puppy’s price and any extras your breeder may provide, such as transport, insurance, or a puppy pack.

Next is the Cost Breakdown page, where you’ll see your puppy’s price, how the payments are split, and when each is due.

The next page is the Payment section. Each breeder may set this up differently — it could be a deposit, holding fee, or full payment. In the example below, you’ll see a deposit.

  • The same screen will appear for any additional payments, such as a second deposit or the remaining balance.

Please note that a RightPaw offer does not replace the breeder's contract if they have one. Your breeder will let you know if they have a separate agreement to sign.
