After connecting your bank account to RightPaw Payments, you may be asked for further verification via our payment partner Stripe.
You will likely see an orange box appear on your RightPaw Payments page, with the action to 'Get Verified'.
You can follow the below steps to complete this verification process.
1. Get Verified: Click the orange 'Get Verified' button. You will be taken to a Stripe-hosted page to complete the verification.
2. Verify your personal details, including name, address, date of birth, and phone number. Be sure to make sure you use the same legal name that appears on any identity documents, to ensure these match up at later steps.
3. Review and confirm: Once these have been entered, you will see a screen to review and confirm. Take a moment to ensure all details are correct, and hit the 'confirm' button at the bottom of the page.
This will take you back to the RightPaw Payments page.
If successful, you will see a green confirmation message, and set-up is complete.
However, if the orange 'Get Verified' box remains, you will likely be required to submit a Proof of Identity Document. Please continue with the steps below:
4. Verify your identity: Click the 'Get Verified' button, to be taken to a Stripe page to verify your identity. You will need to upload an identity document which matches the identify fields (name and date of birth) entered.
5. Upload document: Click 'upload document', and follow the prompts to either upload or take a photo of your document. This can be passport, driving licence, or government-issued ID which shows your face.
6. Review and confirm: You will then be taken back to review and confirm, and you can then hit the 'confirm' button at the bottom of the page.
You will then be taken back to the RightPay Payments page, with the green confirmation message saying your account is up to date.
