How can I add custom questions?

Updated over a year ago

Every applicant must answer our Standard RightPaw questionnaire, however, you can request custom questions to be added to your questionnaire for your breeding program.

How to get a custom question(s) added

  1. Please email support@rightpaw.com.au with your list of custom questions that you want to be added.

  2. We will then review the questions and then we will add the approved questions to your questionnaire.

    NOTE: Questions that are duplicates of the standard RightPaw questionnaire will not be added. Please also note that we cannot add an email field to the questionnaire.

Why can't the email field be added as a question?

RightPaw encourages all breeders and puppy applicants to chat with each other using the messaging feature on the RightPaw platform.

The advantages of this are:

  • It is secure for you (as the breeder) and the puppy buyer;

  • The message function allows the same features of that of email - for example: attachments, photos, etc;

  • It allows you (the breeder) to communicate with the buyer without having your phone number or email exposed;

  • It allows you (the breeder) to screen your puppy buyers first before asking for an email address.

  • There is a clear and transparent record of what you (the breeder) and the buyer have discussed.

We recommend only requesting email addresses once the breeder and the puppy buyer are at a stage of allocating the puppies. Even at this stage - best practice is to send a RightPaw Offer and to keep communication on RightPaw.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

In the event of a dispute or issue with a puppy, puppy buyer and/or breeder - RightPaw cannot assist a breeder or puppy buyer in the event a conversation is taken off the RightPaw platform as we cannot accurately verify that any information sent in the form of a SMS or screenshot email thread is accurate or genuine.

Unfortunately, there have been instances and stories in the past of SMS messages, email threads and Facebook or Instagram DMs doctored or photoshopped to change or eliminate a portion of the conversation.

Please keep your conversations on RightPaw.
